Julia Jackson works as the Jackson Family Wines family business spokesperson thanks to her years of experience and wit in business. She developed a love for wine business from when she was picking grapes at their vineyards as a little girl.. Jess Jackson, her father, started this family business back in 1982. To date, Miss Jackson continues to work on the business with her mother and siblings in maintaining the excellent winemaking tradition of their family. Julia Jackson studied at Scripps College, from where she graduated with an Art degree. She later finished her graduate work over at the Stanford School of Business. Although Julia has a passion for the environment and art, her insatiable desire to produce stellar wine and her business acumen cemented her place in Jackson Family Wines. It is evident that she always wanted to understand every step of the winemaking business because she even spent her very first summer after her graduation in their family vineyard in France making wine.
Julia Jackson is now a pro in the industry, and her favorite variety is the Cabernet grown over at the Sonoma County. The company has many wineries across the world which produce The Peake which is a Cabernet-Shiraz mix from Australia, Lassegue from the French chateau, and Calina’s Cabernet Sauvignon that hails from Chile.Miss Jackson is a remarkable lady who spots potential in people and places. Inspiration from her mom, Barbara Banke. She encouraged Julia to start a non-profit grant program called Seeds Empowerment in 2014. The program aims at supporting women who want to promote change. The initiative grants US$100,000 yearly to entrepreneurs and leaders who create and inspire cultural change, create opportunities for underserved populations, and protecting the environment. The family business also contributes to more than 40 non-profit institutions such like United Way, the Sonoma County Justice Center, and the Red Cross.Finally, Julia Jackson is a woman of substance who loves work and advocates for women growth and empowerment around the world. She is the proprietor for Jackson Family Wines, which is their family business. She admits loving working with the various brands under Jackson Family Wines.
